Women's Professional Musician Club
Women's Professional Musicians Club

In an atmosphere of camaraderie, good food and fun, The Women's Professional Musicians Club meets monthly at members' homes. Their purpose is to help support each other with all of life's trials and celebrations, meet new people, improve professional skills and to fulfill our desire of spreading the joy of music to the world!

Jennifer started The Women's Professional Musicians Club after seeing the good works and friendship in women's clubs where she performed. Almost thirteen years ago, when the Women's Clubs of Illinois and Northern Indiana were auditioning for entertainment acts, Jennifer was asked to provide music during their luncheon. When the day was over, the telephone began ringing off the hook with requests for a "program" for other women's club meetings.

Jennifer has been playing for women's clubs ever since. In addition, she was inspired to start a club for women like herself. So in October of 2004 Jennifer founded The Women's Professional Musicians Club. She is the president of the Club.

More news...

This is Emily Spiegel! I am contacting you because I am leaving my position as a violin teacher in Bloomingdale, IL. I would like the position filled ASAP and am contacting you to see if you, or someone you know, would be interested in a great violin teaching position. I am leaving to pursue fulltime opportunities and am very sad to leave. This job is WONDERFUL! Please feel free to share this message to anyone else you think may be interested. I would really like to hand my students off to someone who is dedicated to staying in the position and dedicated to furthering the students' music.

Here are the details:

  1. This job is in Bloomingdale, IL. Please check the commute before considering the position. You will need to have a car.
  2. I am leaving with about 19 students, this pretty much a full studio. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for more students. I expect more to sign up in the fall.
  3. I am currently at the studio Mon, Tues, Wed. If you decide to take the job, you can choose any days to work; including Saturdays.
  4. The job pays $25/hour.
  5. You never sell anything! There is a fulltime front desk staff that takes care of selling and scheduling. All you do is teach.
  6. The other musicians in the studio are wonderful. You will really enjoy working with them.
  7. My boss is phenomenal. She will always stand up for you and keep you posted on studio updates. She is very professional and expects the same from you.

Please, if you have any questions feel free to email me or call me at: 773-559-4282. I am really sad to leave this job, but my life is demanding I go in another direction. Feel free to look the studio online at: www.bloomingdaleschoolofmusic.com
