Women's Professional Musician Club
Women's Professional Musicians Club

In an atmosphere of camaraderie, good food and fun, The Women's Professional Musicians Club meets monthly at members' homes. Their purpose is to help support each other with all of life's trials and celebrations, meet new people, improve professional skills and to fulfill our desire of spreading the joy of music to the world!

Jennifer started The Women's Professional Musicians Club after seeing the good works and friendship in women's clubs where she performed. Almost thirteen years ago, when the Women's Clubs of Illinois and Northern Indiana were auditioning for entertainment acts, Jennifer was asked to provide music during their luncheon. When the day was over, the telephone began ringing off the hook with requests for a "program" for other women's club meetings.

Jennifer has been playing for women's clubs ever since. In addition, she was inspired to start a club for women like herself. So in October of 2004 Jennifer founded The Women's Professional Musicians Club. She is the president of the Club.

You will need to bring your instrument - our resident arranger will have for us, Puccini's, "Nessun Dorma" Even though I have driven by this place every time I've had a gig downtown, I just "found" it today! Actually, Roy helped find this place, too! Here he is enjoying a delicious hot cup of Kouk's cocoa...(below, left)
